Establishing Quality Standards & Supplier Management
Based on industry standards and customer requirements, establish quantifiable quality standards, clearly defining key indicators such as fabric wear resistance, thickness of metal plating, smoothness of zippers, and stitch spacing. Thoroughly review the qualifications of fabric, hardware, and accessory suppliers, conducting full inspections or spot checks on incoming materials.
Focus on verifying fabric color differences, hardware flaws, and the environmental friendliness of accessories. Non-compliant products must not be admitted and the suppliers must be notified to make corrections. Simultaneously calibrate measuring instruments such as stitch spacing meters and tensile testers. Provide pre-job training for sewing workers and quality inspectors, covering bag sewing standards, key points of hardware assembly, and quality inspection methods. Only those who pass the assessment can start working.
